DENIM SKIRT TWO WAYS !...

Hiya all how's your week been , mine been a bit stressful and busy but we all get weeks like that don't we !. I recently had a big clear out of my wardrobes  I am now down to one big one !. I just got to the point do I really need all these clothes when I wasn't wearing a lot of them !. Can I say I found the experience very therapeutic , and I am trying not to buy to much from the charity ( thrift ) shops (Ahem not always succeeding ). So now the clothes I have now  got in my wardrobe have got to work in different combinations .
This denim skirt is a keeper and will go with many tops , and jumpers in the coming colder months.

A TOP FIND !....

   

Happy Thursday ! My top is a recent charity (thrift ) find and I think it's really cute . As you know blue is a favourite colour of mine and of course a pattern as well makes me a happy bunny !. I seem to be getting a sort of uniform lately of either trousers or jeans and a nice top , a smart casual look.

Hiya all , yes just a quick pop in today !.... First can I just say a big thank you for all your lovely and helpful comments on my last post , it has really given me a wonderful boost !. Well wishing you a fabulous weekend , I am off to do some work on my back garden I have just started a Japanese theme in my garden so lots to do !!!!
Dress you know me and  prints especially flowers , this is a nice dress to wear and as it was a bit chilly that day a cardigan to go with it ( love cardigans too ,I can never have to many ! )

I'M GOING TO STOP !....

Hello I hope you are all keeping well ! , what am I going to stop getting upset about my body !!!.
I am getting so fed up with myself for getting so down about my changing body that goes with the menopause . I have never been body confident since my teens and lately it's been getting worse . I have finally decided to love this body of mine , yes I not super slim but this body has given me six beautiful children and I might add I was not planning to have six children !, but life a funny old thing and sometimes your life does not always go to plan. This body has got me through skin cancer  ,if you have noticed in my pictures I have a round dent the front of my right shin . At 52 years old it's time for me to move on from the worrying and fretting that's been going on with me , I am going to wear what I like and stuff the fashion rule book saying what I should wear for my height ,shape, etc etc and just enjoy wearing what I want ,I will never be outrageous in my clothes because that's just not me , but I am going embrace my body and ageing I know it's going to be hard and there will be days where the doubts will creep in ! but I will give myself a good talking too and read all the inspiring blogs to help me on my way !!! and here are a few ....  Betty @ Pamper and Curves , Magdi @ Szafa Pomyslow , Vix @ Vintage Vixen and Curtise @ The Second Hand Years , Thank you for being just inspiring !!! WHAT JOGGER'S !.....

Hope you are having a good Sunday !, well that's another weekend coming to a end , I don't know about you but to me the weekends fly by so quickly. Well I must say I am well out of my safety zone with these jogger style pants ! I was in Asda the other day doing some food shopping and just happen to be in the clothing aisle like you do ( laugh ) and spotted these jogger's . I liked the look of them ,the colour helped being black and looked quite smart, and reasonable priced I decide to buy them !. And I am so glad I did , they are so comfortable I like the way they look and adding my grey striped top and  my favourite style boyfriend cardigan , I was ready to potter round the shops and hunt round the charity shops . JEANS WITH A TOUCH OF LACE ....

Hello blogging bunnies hope you are all well !. It's amazing what a few days of sun and warm temperatures does to one's mood , it is very uplifting ! even through I am over the worst of my cold it is still lingering , but hey ho !  when the sun out it makes me feel a whole lot better.
Casual look for today , I have had this black peplum top with the lace collar ,for a while now and this is the first time of wearing it.
You know me and lace , when I spied this little top in the charity shop I just love the little detail of the lace collar !.
I added the red bag and shoes just to give a little lift of colour to the outfit , red is such a bright cheerful colour don't you think !. Thank you for you visits and comments always appreciated bye for now Les......

RICH COLOURS.....

A happy Friday to you , the colours in my outfit today remind me of precious stones sapphires and emeralds so rich in colour !. The cardigan and bag are charity shopped , the pants and top I brought with Christmas money and the shoes are old , I do like the snake print on them. Well it's a short post today we are all laid low with colds here at Lesabell Manor ( Lesabell is Mr M nick-name for me ) so I am feeling very sorry for myself , like you do ( Lol ) , I'm off to find the cold and flu tablets ! , Have a good weekend everyone , thank you for your visits and comments. THIS LADY JUST CAN'T HELP IT !....

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and April is here , honestly the months seem to me are flying by so quickly don't you think ?. Yes I just cannot help it i am always drawn to black ! I can see Curtise and Vix rolling their eyes in despair ( laugh ) but in my defence i have added the mustard coloured bag ,  and the giraffe on my jumper is rather sweet . Love the very lady like skirt and you know me i love a jumper with a animal on it !.
